I just bought a 1990 CRP TT. Got a good deal on it, and it has quite a list of upgrades and add-ons - see "The Project" in my profile for a pretty complete list. The last owner and whoever did his maintenance weren't kind to it, however. He did a rattle-can flat black paint job. His maintnanace shop apparently disconnected the BOV controller, plugged the PCV ports and deleted the hose connections on the valve cover, deleted the clutch booster vacuum hose, and, most frightening of all (so far), took off the e-brake mounting plates and shoes. Somewhere along the line, someone added an Earle's external oil cooler. However, they plumbed it in series with the OEM cooler, and mounted the Earle's in front of the OEM. I understood that the Earle's cooler was a replacement for the OEM, and that the OEM cooler should be removed. Can someone confirm that my understanding is correct?
